On the 24th of November a group of CKE residents attended the CKE board meeting and voiced a concern over a perceived conflict of interest with the planning directors involvement when representing the community association. The attendees identified a perceived conflict of interest with his private involvement with a restrictive covenant initiative, which is not board sanctioned. Our planning director has volunteered to temporarily step down from his position. Effective immediately Jessica Kopitar will take up the planning director’s role. We appreciate our community members being so passionate about the future of our neighbourhoods.
