Pickleball
This action packed sport combines elements of badminton, tennis and ping-pong. Players will use solid paddles and a wiffle-like ball, while playing on a badminton-sized court. It is a low impact, high energy sport and the rules are very easy to learn.

CKE Community Garden
Get Gardening this Spring!
The CKE Community Garden is a wonderful asset to the Community, providing rich, diverse green space next to the Community Hall. The CKE Community Garden rents out half beds (4’ x 4’) to members of the community for $35 per year + a current community membership. Fees charged go back into the garden to be used for supplies, plants, and hosting educational events. If you are interested in renting a plot for spring 2020, or just want to get involved, please send a note to the contact person below.
March 2020
The CKE Community Garden hosted a very successful movie night in February, attended by close to 20 people. The movie – Can You Dig This – was very well received, and is highly recommended for anyone interested in community development, community gardens, or just the power of planting and growing food. The film is available for viewing on Amazon Prime.
Plans are in the works for our garden rebuild this spring as we finalize the budget, hire a landscape contractor for the heavier work, and source out supplies. With those in place we will plan for tasks that can be carried out on a Community work day. Ideally all this will happen before the May Long Weekend so that planting in the raised beds can happen shortly afterwards. Stay tuned for more information on work dates, workshops and events related to the Garden.
