City Planning and Engagement Opportunities

Proposed “Guidebook for Great Communities”

“With the Guidebook for Great Communities (Guidebook), we are planning communities in Calgary so they offer more housing, shops, and service choices for the people who live, work and visit them. When a community provides more opportunities, people can live in their neighbourhood regardless of age, income or stage in life”

Liveable Streets community engagement initiative in the Heritage Communities area.

The information gathered through their project will focus on enhancing walking and wheeling on Neighbourhood Streets, making them safer, more comfortable and welcoming for all community members. The engagement will create project lists that will be implemented through existing budgets and over time through redevelopment opportunities. To have your say in what makes moving in your community great, or could be improved, visit Calgary.ca to participate in the online survey. Their Survey is open until March 31.
